I live in Waynesboro, PA and besides woodturning, I enjoy all woodworking plus campling, reading and walking (when I am able).  My work shop is divided, one is 9' x 13' where I keep my lathe, a Sears 12" Craftsman with a 42" bed.  The other room is 13' x 21' where I keep my planer/edger, drill, bandsaw, sander, table saw and radial arm saw.
I've been turning about 3 years and consider myself low to medium in turning skills and know I have a LOT to learn.  I do enjoy turning bottle stoppers, pens, bowls and spindles for chairs.  I specifically want to learn more about turning the inside of bowls and vase turning.  I'm also interested in learning more about different types of turning materials.
My nephew, Jim Stottlemyer, told me about the club and I'm glad he did.  I like the fact that we can learn from each other, I like the demonstrations and fellowship.  I think the planned Tours are a great experience.
